One van, five badges
From 2015 the Renault Trafic was sold under five names, and they are the same van underneath:
- Renault Trafic — 2014/2015 onwards, the original.
- Vauxhall Vivaro — up to 2019 only. The 2019-on Vivaro is a different van and takes a different kit.
- Nissan NV300 — 2016 to 2021.
- Nissan Primastar — 2022 onwards (the NV300 renamed).
- Fiat Talento — 2016 to 2020.
Kit 98655Z021 fits every one of them, and awning size is set by the wheelbase: SWB takes the 230cm F45S, LWB the 260cm. The Fit Finder above confirms yours in a few taps, including the two vans that need a closer look (pre-2015 previous shape and the 2019-on Vivaro).

One finish, one kit for the platform. Vans with a roof rack use the Fiamma roof-bars adapter instead — the Fit Finder routes rack vans to it.
Fitting it
- Drilling is part of the job. The kit fixes at the roof edge with drilled, sealed fixings — that is Fiamma's specified installation, and sealed properly it stays watertight for the life of the van.
- Fitted in an afternoon. The kit comes with Fiamma's own fixings and instruction sheet, and we're on WhatsApp if you get stuck.
- Standard roof only. High-roof vans need a photo check first — send us the roofline and we'll confirm before you buy.
- Two-person job. Lifting the awning onto the fitted brackets is not a solo task at any length.
If drilling your own van is a step too far, a local installer will fit a supplied awning and kit in a couple of hours.
Questions and answers
Will a Fiamma F80S fit a Renault Trafic?
No. Fiamma make no F80S kit for the Trafic platform because the roof sits too low for a roof-mounted awning. The Trafic takes the wall-mounted Fiamma F45S instead, and the kit on this page is its mount. That applies to the whole platform: Trafic, Vivaro (to 2019), NV300, Primastar and Talento.
Does the same kit really fit the Vivaro, NV300, Primastar and Talento?
Yes, with one important exception. The 2015-on Renault Trafic, the Vauxhall Vivaro up to 2019, the Nissan NV300, the 2022-on Nissan Primastar and the Fiat Talento are the same van underneath with different badges, so kit 98655Z021 fits them all. The exception is the 2019-on Vivaro, which moved to a different platform entirely and takes a different kit. Not sure which yours is? Use the Fit Finder on this page.
What size F45S does my van take?
SWB takes the 230cm F45S and LWB takes the 260cm. Both are verified fitments published by Fiamma for this kit.
Does fitting this kit involve drilling?
Yes. The kit fixes at the roof edge with drilled, sealed fixings — that is Fiamma’s specified installation for this platform, and sealed properly it stays watertight for the life of the van. If drilling puts you off doing it yourself, a local installer will fit the kit and awning in a couple of hours.
My van has a high roof — does the kit still fit?
The kit is specified for the standard-height roof, which is the vast majority of these vans. If yours is a high roof, send us a photo of the roofline and we will confirm the right fixing before you buy anything.
What about a van with a roof rack fitted?
With a rack, the awning clamps to your bars with the Fiamma roof-bars adapter instead of this kit. The Fit Finder on this page routes rack vans to the right adapter.
