Cool Box Finder
Find the right cool box for your van
Five quick questions and we will point you at the right Waeco compressor cool box, sized to how you actually use it, with the setup advice for your power so it keeps the food cold without flattening a battery.
Who are you keeping cold?
This and your trip length set the size. Be honest about the busiest trip, not the average one.
What the finder recommends ▸ tap to expand
We recommend from the Waeco WCC range of portable 12/24V compressor cool boxes, the sensible-money range from Dometic. The WCC18 (19 litres) suits one person on day trips; the WCC32 (32L) and WCC40 (39L) cover a couple for weekends and longer; the WCC60 (59L) is the family box; and the WCC80DZ (78L) is the dual-zone one that holds frozen and fresh at the same time in two separate compartments.
Every one is a real compressor, so it holds a set temperature from +20°C down to ‒18°C whatever the weather, and has 3-stage battery protection built in so it shuts down before it can flatten your battery. For home or hook-up use you can add the WPS90 mains adapter, which the finder flags for you.
